Student - Staff Connect
Student-Staff Connect is a new service for the Western Sydney University community - staff and students - to work in Partnership together on a transformative education project that makes a difference to our students’ learning experiences.
Why is Student-Staff Connect needed?
We know there is demand among staff to work in Partnership ways with students, and we know there are transformational benefits for students, staff and the University. Student-Staff Connect expands the successful approach of the 21C Student Curriculum Partners and broadens the scope for Partnership beyond curriculum.
How does Student-Staff Connect work?
Using a fee for service model, Student-Staff Connect allows staff to make a request for students partners to work alongside them on an education project or to improve a service / initiative that affects WSU students. You propose the project and we provide support by equipping you with the skills to engage with students as well as access to students who know how to work collaboratively to add value to your project.

Partnership is our specialty but we recognise that we can also provide value to the university community in other ways too. Consultation and involvement encompass purposeful initiatives aimed at actively engaging students in matters that effect them. Empower them to contribute meaningfully and realise the benefits of co-creation.
