The SAP Roundtable 2021

23-25 of November 2021 (Online)
#SAPRtable21

We were given the incredible opportunity to host the SAP Roundtable in 2021.

This was our vision for it.

While this year’s Roundtable is online, we acknowledge that the campuses of Western Sydney University are located on the unceded lands of the Darug, Eora, Dharawal (also referred to as Tharawal) and Wiradjuri peoples. We also recognise their care for people, lands, skies and waterways, and we recognise that their custodianship is an opportunity for our collective learning.

Our 3 Day Program (PDF)

Each day of the 2021 Roundtable is committed to exploring the question of paradox with different focus, purpose and energy.

Keynote Speakers

Three provocative keynotes set the scene each day, taking on the question of The Partnership Paradox in their own unique way

The Partnership Paradox

We’ve worked really hard to create a Roundtable that not only continued the tradition of celebrating partnership but also looked at our partnership practices through a more critical lens.

So for the first time the SAP Roundtable had a theme: The Partnership Paradox.

The Online Experience.

Following the 2020 Deakin Roundtable experience, the three days were online and hosted on MS Teams and Zoom.

An intriguing collection of Case Studies.

Our Roundtable had a total of 37 case studies across our three case study sessions. They were filled with a diverse range of paradoxes in a variety of contexts and came from diverse presenters around the globe. We’ve compiled all case study abstracts in PDFs below for you to get a taste of what was presented.

Updates.

Every so often, we will release a video updating you on the Roundtable’s progress so you can follow our journey. Follow the Roundtable hashtag #SAPRtable21.

We’re grateful for the opportunity.

We were so thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to host the 2021 National Students as Partners Roundtable. We want to thank Kelly Mathews for trusting us with it. We also want to acknowledge Western Sydney University, and in particular, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Professor Simon Barrie for his executive sponsorship of the 21C Project – the institutional project that brought us together to make the Roundtable possible.
